During a flight from Tehran( Iran) to the Iranian city of Yasuj, a passenger plane has crashed with 66 people on board, according to local Iranian news reports.
On Sunday, a spokesperson for Iran Aseman Airlines informed state TV that all 66 passengers had been killed.
Local media reports that the crash occurred in a mountainous area in central Iran.
An airline official said the flight had departed at 7:55 local time (04:25 GMT on Sunday) but according to Iranian state media, the plane disappeared from the radar soon after its departure from Mehrabad airport.
Aboard the plane included 60 passengers and 6 crew members.
Reports say multiple rescue teams have been dispatched to the scene of the crash but one helicopter was forced to turn back because of the harsh mountainous weather conditions.
